Heidi Franklin is a visual artist living on Dja Dja Wurrung country in Bendigo, Victoria. Her artworks are inspired by the Celtic illuminations of her ancestry, the Tanzanian batiks of her childhood and the Art Nouveau movement of the late 1800s.

Franklin's use of strong linework, high-contrast compositions and vivid limited palettes complement the bold and visionary nature of her subject matter, enhancing the storytelling aesthetic of her work.

In addition to her creative practice, Heidi Franklin is committed to holding space to cultivate creativity, wellbeing, insight and development, through her work as an art therapist, teacher and retreat facilitator at The Lamp Post Studio.
